We need to make peace and come together to make things better for our garden!

I believe its time we all came together and made peace for the good of the garden and the really important issues of what we need to do for the plot holders and for the future of the garden and its use to grow food to help feed the hungry in our community. Its time to put our selfish divisions aside. We need to look at what are more important issues. Our service to our plot holders. After all what we are doing is voluntary and we should ask ourselves if we are not getting paid then what is our…See More

This is the first I have heard of this, I am compleatly confused by this also. There are some plants in the center circle that can easely be transplanted to other areas of the garden with out any difficulty. That way the sculpture can be installed.…

Fall Crops, dont forget you can plant now and get a lot of produce.

Now is the time to plant fall crops I planted spinich, letuce and radishes today 9-26-10 in the labyrinth the spinich takes about 40 days to come up. The letuce a little longer. and the radishes take only 20 days to come up. This is also a good time to clean up your plants from spring and summer as well as weed, weed ,weed. The never ending battle of the weeds. This week there is supposed to be sun all week long so the plants should grow very well especially the pepper plants and the eggplants.…See More

Twitter is a micro blogging site. www.twitter.com. It's one of those things in life that you have to do for a while to understand, then really difficult to explain to others.

twitter is a micro blog - limited to 156 characters... so choose words wisely and abbreviate :)...

but what makes twitter really special - is that its like an ongoing conversation with whoever chooses to listen... you might follow me if you like the things i write about... you might stop following me if they arent relevant to you...

whats so cool is the way information is shared and the conversation starts and stops when you choose...

I love it but there are skeptics and folks who give it a bad rap... I say they just dont know how to use it :)

Like anything creating another online account outta be a way for you to only "better connect" with the things in the tangible world that matter to you :)

See you at the garden !

How would a resident gain access to information regarding the 2,000 empty lots?

I have wondered how many Community Gardens the City's resources could support.

Thank you.
