Site Kickoff Snyopsis !

Last Thursday was our first public event - on the site !

We had a large number of folks show up in the very first hour - and some come as late as 7:30 !

Here are some of the more specific things we did ...

1. Put donated tools in the garden shed 

2. Shared long range plans

3. Assigned plots to those who signed the agreement ( about 25 plots ! )

4. Handed out flyers with information about the garden

5. Walked the neighborhood and knocked on doors to spread the word

6. Marked out some of the key dimensions for the May 9th Construction Date

7. We made new friends & took photo's to post on the website ASAP !

Over all we had a lot of fun for a cloudy / windy day !

The  day seemed to be a great success and a big thanks to all who came and  got involved ! ! !
