It's Summer Weeding and Harvesting Time

Summer is more then halfway over now and while we have had it fairly easy temperature wise, the weeds have also had it easy and many are ready to set seed!  So to reduce the number of weeds returning next year, help us all out and pull some of the weeds growing around your plot and in the common areas.  Spending 20-30 minutes here and there weeding really adds up when we all chip in!!

  • Conduct the plot distribution at all City of Des Moines Community Gardens & manage that messy paperwork.
