Downtown Community Garden - Des Moines Iowa

Growing Together @ the corner of E 6th and Scott Street.

I dropped by the garden this past Sunday, for the first time since last fall, and noticed that the water tank was not there. I'm guessing that the city put it in storage for the winter. Does anyone out there know what happened to it?

Craig, I'll contact them and see what the status of that is and when they plan to return the water tank to the garden.

Christine

Here's the skinny on the water tank ~ from Russ Darr. We can use the city's 500 gal. water tank again this year until they city reconnects the water line for us. Unless something changes, the water tank is projected to show up at the garden no earlier than the week of May 3.
