COMMUNITY WORK DAYS :: SUNDAY AUGUST 1 and SATURDAY AUGUST 7

Our co-gardener Pete Sherinian has graciously offered to host one, of two Community Work Days at the downtown garden. The offer and incentive? Show up, help clean up, and Pete will feed us! Hot dogs, brats, burgers and grilled veggies from our plots. RSVP IS REQUIRED so Pete can plan the number of food items he needs to bring though please bring anything else you would like to contribute to the shared meal.

Work Day One :: Sunday, August 1 (Pete’s “Weed and Feed”)
START: 2:30 to focus on the following priorities. The grill gets fired up at 5:00.
HIGH PRIORITIES
Weeding personal plots and community areas
Cleaning up and organizing our tool shed
Cleaning/sanitizing the tools
Mulching pathways

Work Day Two :: Saturday, August 7

START: 9:00 a.m. - Noon
HIGH PRIORITIES (anything that did not get finished on work day one) plus the compost bins and heaps
